Seu Jorge & Almaz - The Model: Chapter 2 - Oshun and The Dream

The second half of this two-part short premiered on The Independent Film Channel’s IFC.com today.

Via Now-Again: This film – loosely based around Almaz’s cover of Kraftwerk’s “The Model” – captures Jorge as he delves into his subconscious to examine the figure of a recurring dream: a woman – a model – who taunts and arouses; comforts and scares; perplexes and completes him. Seu Jorge and Almaz - The Model: Chapter One - Marcello in Limbo

Part one of a short film/music video starring Seu Jorge, featuring his band Almaz, and their families. Part two to premiere on IFC in the coming weeks.

Brilliantly shot in their Hollywood Hills residence with direction from Kahlil Joseph, produced by What Matters Most.

Kahlil Joseph is an emerging director based in Los Angeles with a visionary talent. As part of What Matters Most, they’ve produced gorgeous cinematic works for new artists such as Aloe Blacc “I Need A Dollar”, Shafiq feat. Bilal “Cheeba”, and a homage to the seminal Charles Burnett film, Killer of Sheepfor Shabazz Palaces (remember Butterfly from Digable Planets?) entitled, “Belhaven Meridian”
